Hockey Laces come in two types, waxed and unwaxed. Both have their advantages and disadvantages.
Waxed Hockey Laces
Waxed Hockey Laces have several advantages. They include staying tighter after being tied and staying tight longer than unwaxed laces. The disadvantage of waxed laces is the chalky feeling that they leave on your heads. Waxed laced are also harder to unite than unwaxed laces.
Unwaxed Hockey Laces
UnWaxed Hockey Laces have several advantages. They include not leaving your hands chalky after tying your skates. The disadvantages of unwaxed laces are being harder to get tight, and stay tight than waxed laces.
